Sometimes I crack myself up.

I went out last night. I went to an 18th birthday party, the goalie in our 7-a-side team turned 18. Bit of an irrelevance, really, given that he came out with us on christmas eve and new year’s eve. I realisedwhen I was younger that there’s generally one kid in your school who is cool because he goes out drinking with older blokes, who are usually much smoother and more charming than anybody else you know. And then over christmas it struck me that Andy was that cool kid, and I was the charming and smooth guy. So I actually felt better after that.

Anyway, we’re at this party, feeling slightly old (although I feel that quite a lot) and naturally we’re looking at what the younger generation are wearing these days. Paying particular attention to brevity of hemlines, tightness of jeans, etc.Oh, obviously this is just the ladies. (look its not wrong to look, okay?!) And both myself and Cocksy (known him for years. “brilliant Ballo!”) are rather taken by one of the throng and ask Andy who the rather foxy girl in the short skirt is.

“That’s my fifteen year old kid sister. Steady on”

Really was quite funny. Anyway, later on we went over into Torquay. A good time was had by all, and I felt rather fragile this morning.

Cheerio!
