Perceys fell apart in a disappointing game, where the greater nous of the Zeneca team, saw them complete a comfortable win over Perceys. Whilst perceys were failry competitive for the first period, they did often look susceptible to the regular forays into their half by the Zeneca players.

However, this was not to say that Perceys did not have their moments either. With James Down holding the ball up well up front, Perceys also could look dangerous.

But eventually, AZ’s greater experience told and they took the lead. The regular controversial moment occurred when ‘referee’ , Andy Tinkler, awarded Perceys (??? blimey) a penalty which Cocks duly dispatched.

But Perceys succumbed to a couple soft goals to trail 3-1 at the break.

Until… a quite sublime move saw Alex Head grab his first goal of the season to make it 3-2 and maybe a comeback was on the cards until.

..(again) Alex sadly made an error almost immediately after scoring to allow an AZ player in to make it 4-2. Further AZ goals came to increase the lead further to 6-2 until Cocks scored again to make the final score 6-3.
