Perceys won at a canter really. With a squad that was missing three important players, they still did not need to move into top gear and after overcoming the setback of falling a goal behind, they came back to dominate the game.

An earlyish Badgers goal was swiftly cancelled out when Scales latched onto the loose ball to equalise for Perceys and he repeated the feat to fire Perceys ahead after a very good move. Some good moves saw a number of close chances by Perceys…a superb effort from Head was tipped around by the Badgers goaly.

And finally The Pornmeister himself came up with a 3rd to reinforce Perceys superiority and 3-1 it remained at the break.

For all their dominance in the 2nd half, Perceys somehow failed to capitalise and it did occasionally cross Percey minds that a Badgers goal could really turn the game on its head. Fortunately, Mark Eaton was at hand in the Perceys goal to spurn anything Badgers could throw at Perceys.

And then a wonderful move saw Scales play the ball to Marek Cole who finished well to make it 4-1. And that is how it remained…and really it was a scoreline that flattered Badgers.
